I have big dreams. I would like to reach a point where the world can be inspired by my music.
You say you wrote about 300 songs. How did you manage to do that?
I have been writing songs since I began speaking. Sometimes it starts with a poem, sometimes it starts with a melody, many times I wake up with a melody in my head. Over time I realized that I had written over 300 songs.
What is the secret of writing a good song?
1. Listen to the sounds of nature, people talking, bells ringing, and hear music in everything around you.
2. Record the melodies you hear and improvise with them. Even if it sounds crappy, record it.
3. Write from experience, write about things that you’ve been thinking and learning about.
4. Be mysterious; Let the mood of the song give away most of the theme and not the lyrics. Use similes and metaphors which these are great for bringing a little mystery to the song. Mystery keeps people in suspense and it also gives the listener room to vision their own personal experiences.
5. Review your work. The most important secret that has been very beneficial to my songwriting, is reviewing my music. When I review my songs, I hear new sounds and new lyrics, I can better understand what the mood of the song is about
What do you want to reach in the music scene?
I have big dreams. I would like to reach a point where the world can be inspired by my music. I also would like to use my music for good. I have a passion for working with children and teaching them positive things, one day I would like to release a song that will encourage us to be good examples to young children and to give them a brighter future.
What have you reached so far?
So far I am very happy with the direction of my musical career. I have learned how to produce music on my own, I have also attained a college degree in computer graphics and design which helps me out a lot when it comes to fashion. I won a BMG music scholarship in high school, and most of all, I've learned to take my time and enjoy my friends and fans.
